Building a stronger digital foundation for a Massachusetts law firm.

Silva Salinas needed a clearer brand presence, stronger website foundation, SEO infrastructure, and paid search support to help the firm become more visible to prospective clients searching for legal services in Northeast Massachusetts.

The Challenge

Silva Salinas needed a stronger digital foundation that could support visibility, trust, and lead generation.

At the start of the engagement, the existing website had several opportunities for improvement. Integral’s website and SEO audit found that the site was not ranking for non-branded keywords, had no backlinks providing SEO benefit, was missing meta descriptions on almost all pages, and did not have a sitemap to communicate with search crawlers.

The website also needed a stronger user journey. The audit identified opportunities to make contact easier for prospective clients, including clearer calls to action, a sitewide contact form, and a more user-friendly way to capture inquiries instead of relying only on email links .

For a law firm, that mattered.

When someone is searching for help with a family law matter, divorce, custody issue, or legal concern, the website cannot make them work too hard to understand who you are, what you do, or how to contact you.

The firm needed:

A clearer brand identity.
A better website experience.
Custom content built around services and search behavior.
SEO infrastructure for long-term organic growth.
Measurement tools to understand what was driving interest.
Paid search support to drive traffic and leads while SEO matured.

What Integral Did

Integral supported Silva Salinas across brand, website, SEO, measurement, and paid media.

Brand Identity & Website Foundation

Integral rebranded Silva Salinas, including logo development and a broader brand identity system. The website work focused on creating a stronger, more credible digital presence that could better communicate the firm’s services and support lead generation.

The website foundation work included a full audit, SEO audit, tracking implementation, Google tool setup, and recommendations for improving organic growth.

Integral also identified several user experience and content opportunities, including:

Adding stronger calls to action.
Using a sitewide contact form to capture more meaningful prospect information.
Creating a blog to support long-term SEO growth.
Improving the homepage with a clearer SEO-friendly heading.
Creating individual service pages instead of placing all services on one page.
Adding stronger contact pathways throughout the site.

That service-page recommendation was especially important. The audit noted that placing all services on one page was not ideal for SEO and could also hurt paid search quality score, which impacts cost per click .

In plain English: the site needed to be easier for both humans and Google to understand.

SEO Setup & Technical Foundation

Integral implemented the SEO foundation needed to help the site become more discoverable over time.

This included:

Reviewing pages to ensure search engines could crawl them.
Creating sitemaps to improve communication with search engine crawlers.
Confirming canonical URLs were in place to avoid duplication issues.
Creating and connecting Google Search Console.
Submitting sitemaps directly to Google.
Creating and optimizing the Google My Business listing.
Adding business categories, service areas, address, and phone number.
Performing keyword research.
Updating meta titles and descriptions across key pages .

The metadata work was particularly important because almost all pages were previously missing meta descriptions, which meant Google was auto-filling website text in search results .

Integral also provided SEO content best practices, including title length guidance, meta description guidance, and recommendations for creating more substantial content on new pages and blog posts .

Measurement Infrastructure

Integral added the systems needed to measure performance and future marketing activity.

This included:

Google Tag Manager
Google Analytics 4
Google Search Console
Google My Business
Google Ads integration with Google Analytics
Conversion tagging for contact actions

Integral also installed two website conversions in Google Analytics:

contact_email_click
contact_phone_click

These conversion events were also installed in Google Ads so the firm could evaluate which marketing efforts contributed to prospective clients reaching out .

This was a major shift from “we have a website” to “we can understand what the website is doing.”

Paid Search Campaign

Once the foundation was in place, Integral managed paid search advertising through Google Ads to promote Silva Salinas’ Family Law vertical.

The paid search effort was designed to promote Family Law services in Northeast Massachusetts, with particular focus on Essex County, the North Shore, and Merrimack Valley communities. The goals were to drive site traffic and leads .

The starting media budget was relatively low, but with monthly reporting that included a dashboard, observations, optimization summaries, and next steps, we were able to achieve results whilst maintaining strategic alignment.

Early campaign activity focused on:

Activating the Family Law campaign.
Building keyword and text ad structures.
Adding website imagery to increase ad real estate.
Adding new keywords based on actual user searches.
Creating dynamic text ads tied to search behavior.
Using automated bid strategy informed by real-time user search and location signals .

Results and Impact

The work helped Silva Salinas move from a weaker digital foundation into a more structured marketing ecosystem with brand, website, SEO, measurement, and paid search working together.

SEO and Website Foundation

Integral created the technical and measurement foundation needed for long-term organic visibility, including Search Console setup, sitemap submission, GMB setup, metadata improvements, tracking tags, and conversion tracking .

This positioned the website to become more findable over time while also making it easier to understand which digital efforts were driving prospective client actions.

Paid Search Performance

Paid search served as a bridge while the site’s SEO foundation matured.

Integral managed a local Google Ads campaign focused on Family Law services in Northeast Massachusetts, with an emphasis on Essex County, the North Shore, and Merrimack Valley communities. The campaign was designed to drive qualified site traffic and leads while the organic search strategy had time to build momentum .

Across the campaign, Integral monitored performance, added relevant keywords, expanded negative keyword lists, refined ad copy, tested campaign structures, and optimized toward lead-generating actions like calls and contact form submissions.

The campaign generated consistent visibility and lead activity on a modest monthly media budget. Over time, optimizations helped identify which search terms, ad formats, and campaign structures were most efficient for reaching people actively looking for family law support.

In short: paid search helped Silva Salinas stay visible while SEO did the slower, longer-term work of building organic discoverability.

Strategic Takeaway

Paid search can drive leads, but the foundation determines how well the whole system works.

Silva Salinas is a strong example of how brand, website, SEO, tracking, and paid media need to work together.

Paid search helped generate visibility and inquiries while SEO matured. But the paid campaign was only one piece of the larger system.

The bigger strategic work was building the foundation:

A clearer brand identity.
A stronger website structure.
Better service-specific content.
SEO infrastructure.
Google Business visibility.
Conversion tracking.
A paid search campaign that could be optimized based on real activity.

This is why tactics alone are not enough.

A campaign can drive traffic.
A website has to convert it.
SEO has to build visibility over time.
Tracking has to tell you what is working.
The brand has to make people feel like they are in the right place.

That is the system.
